Quick Start · What do you need?

Activate the clothes vocabulary quickly, then switch to listening for specific details.

0–6 min
Teacher: Do not go through all eight cards. Give 20 seconds to look, then each student chooses only 2 cards and says a different sentence. The purpose is activation, not exhaustive practice. Then move immediately to the listening. Students compare listening answers with each other before checking.
Quick speaking: Choose 2 cards only. Read the model → change ONE detail → say your new sentence aloud. No writing needed.

Notice → Rebuild → Model → Change

Move from a clear model to independent speaking step by step.

28–35 min
Teacher: This stage is the bridge to independence. Do not ask them to invent a dialogue from nothing. Follow the sequence: puzzle → full model → change 3 details → role strips only. During the final round, turn camera/mic off and monitor.

What size do you need?ask about size
Where can I try it on?ask about the fitting room

1 · DIALOGUE PUZZLE · Put the conversation in order

Work together. Click the lines in the order you think they happen. Start with the sales assistant.

Conversation route: HELP → ITEM → SIZE → TRY ON → PRICE → DECISION

2 · SEE THE WHOLE MODEL

Read once with roles. Then use this conversation as a frame.

Each student has different information. Buy the right item without showing your card.

35–46 min

  • English only.
  • Do not show your private card.
  • Ask one question at a time.
  • Do not read the whole card aloud.

EXTRA 1 · Which One Should I Buy?

Use only if the core finishes early. Listen, compare options, and make a recommendation.

+5–7 min
Teacher: This is NOT another item/size/price recall. Students listen to a customer’s needs, compare three options, then recommend one and justify the choice. Let them disagree and negotiate. Camera/mic can stay off during the pair discussion.

🎧 Customer dilemma

Listen to the customer. Then choose the best option — not just the cheapest one.

PAIR DECISION · 60 seconds
Decide together. Use English only.
I think ___ is better because… · But ___ is cheaper. · What about…? · I’d choose…
